•    17th century church collapses in Armenia

    PanARMENIAN.NetSaint Hripsime Church collapsed on Mar 9 in Sevanakar encampment of Syunik province. According to RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, a informal rescue government organisation over for a site of occurrence.

    As encampment administration conduct Arshavir Hakobyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, yet no victims were reported, a adjacent residence was damaged.

    “There was a vast moment in a church wall, a sleet melted, and a church immediately collapsed. We addressed several state institutions, however, they told us to find a sponsor,” Hakobyan said.

    The church was built in 1663.
